The site 57 is the nearest to the beach area. If the beach is your main interest, it may be your site.
It comes not without a compromise though.
The site is tucked inside the right triangle created by the main park road on the left and the short road leading to the boat launch on the right for its legs, and the short-cut road behind for the hypotenuse. You are seeing the right angle of the triangle with the site 57 inside of it.
Now walk around and have a look from the opposite side (from "the hypotenuse", if you prefer to stay with the math terms). The site is not too smal, not too large, the right size kind of a site.
This is a reverse view from the back of the site towards the entrance.
The boat launch is also within short walking distance. Launch your motor boat, your canoe or kayak, or enjoy fishing right off the docks.
