Bonnechere Ontario Provincial Park

The Bonnechere Park is set on the shores of Bonnechere River and Round Lake.

Bonnechere Ontario Provincial Park

Bonnechere River is a small winding river perfectly suited for kayaking or canoeing. Besides some driftwood lining the bottom and fallen trees laying across the water, it is safe for a ride. If you decide to go upstream, you may reach the rapids within one or two hours depending on your skills. If you go down the stream, the river will take you to the Round Lake. There is a lot of water surface to explore in both the river and the lake.

The other park features include a sandy beach, a playground, two hot shower facilities, a boat launch, a store, payphones, canoe rentals, and more.
There are three main compounds: one by the river, another one closer to the beach and the shower station, and one more in the woods, away from the river and the lake. Four cabins are set on the waterfront on a side.
