Needless to say, Charleston Lake Ontario Provincial Park is set on the shores of the namesake lake, all right? The lowered ridges of the Canadian Shield are rolling into the waters of the lake offering some serious opportunities to explore.
The site 305 is located in the wooded area, not exactly on the waterfront, but within walking distance from the beach.
By looking at this view from the public access road, you can see that the site is deep and fairly wide.
In this shot taken from the back end of the site over towards entrance you can see that the site also features somewhat private expenditure hidden from the road by the large tree and other vegetation.
The site 305 features standard for Charleston Lake Park a picnic table and a fire pit. The privacy of the site is above average. There is a neighbouring site in proximity though. Both outhouses and the hot water restrooms are in short walking distance.
And again, the park invites to explore. The beaches are not very large and get crowded at high season. The scenery of the shoreline compensates for those interested in canoeing or kayaking.
