Rideau River Ontario Provincial Park, site 117

Site 117 is near water, but not a waterfront.
Size: 12 m x 9 m.
Non-electric
Drinking water: near.
Outhouse: near.
Showers and flash toilets: within reasonable walking distance.
Fire pit on the left.

The site is open from the road. It is set in the wooded area and shady even on a sunny day. The lake is on the left in the photo.

Looking towards the entrance from the back end. The site is not huge, but large enough for a small party.

It is coming with a picnic table and a fire pit with the grill.

In the Rideau River Park the walking trail separates the campsites from the water, so neither campsite has a waterfront. Some campsites though are located closer to the water. They may have short cuts like the one in the photo.

Looking back from the shoreline through the short cut. It allows for carrying or storing kayak or canoe. Swimming is not advisable due to abundance of the weeds.
