The park is known for swimming, fishing, hiking. Considering its relatively Northern location, one should expect black fly season running longer, and swimming season shorter.
It is far away from major cities and usually not as crowded as the parks along the HWY 401.

The campgrounds are built around Moore Lake. The lake itself is less than a kilometer across. Along with upstream parts of Amable du Fond River it makes for quiet fishing or fun family trips on canoe or kayak.
The park has playgrounds and a beach, shower facilities, flash toilets on some campgrounds.

Fishing is quite good at the park.
Amenities
Central comfort station is typical for the Ontario Provincial parks.
At the same time you may find toilet cabins dispersed over the park equipped with flash toilets and running water sinks.
