The park is located by Ottawa River, North of famous Algonquin Park, off Trans-Canada HWY 17.

The park has three campground areas: West River and East River Campgrounds by the water, and Brumm Campground, up on the hill in the wooded area, away from the river shore.

The river shore is covered by driftwood, thus the name of the park.

One can see beautiful Hills on the Quebec side of the river.

On a good day you may want to cross Ottawa river and run your canoe or kayak up the scenic Dumoine River.

Keep in mind, the park is located in the province of Ontario, while Ottawa river separate two provinces: Ontario and Quebec. Each province requires you to buy their own licence if you would like to go fishing in Ontario or Quebec waters.
