The park houses over 300 car campsites, electric and otherwise. It is well maintained with number of shower and flash toilet facilities, long beach.
Besides swimming, canoeing and general type of camping the Presqu'ile Park is famous as a place for the migratory birds to stop and breed. Over 300 species recorded in the park.
